The room decides quickly. Before you speak, it has already read your walk, your shoulders, the state of your shoes and whether your clothes agree with your ambition. This is not shallow — it is human, and it can be prepared for.
Presence is not volume. The most commanding person in most rooms is the most composed one: unhurried, prepared, dressed with intention. All three are trainable.
A preparation ritual
The night before: decide the outfit completely, down to socks. The morning of: steam, don't iron in a rush. Ten minutes before: stop rehearsing content and rehearse posture — feet planted, breath slow, jaw unclenched. Then enter the room as though you belong there, because you prepared like someone who does.
